Disciples III: Renaissance valt op door zijn prachtige graphics en lange campagne, waardoor je veel uren kunt spelen. De visuele veranderingen op de kaart bij het veroveren van gebieden zijn origineel en geven het spel extra sfeer. Toch zijn er belangrijke nadelen: de gameplay mist diepgang en strategische keuzes, waardoor het snel eentonig wordt. Missies zijn erg lineair en bieden weinig replaywaarde. Daarnaast zijn er veel klachten over slechte AI, bugs en technische problemen. Multiplayer is beperkt tot hotseat, wat voor veel spelers een teleurstelling is. Over het algemeen is het een visueel aantrekkelijk spel, maar qua spelmechaniek en uitdaging schiet het tekort.

Got disc not inserted error. Downloaded patch from Kalypso and error persisted. Was told no new patches were coming out so I returned it. Might have been good, never got to play it. I heard a lot of the north American versions of this game shipped with this issue. As a positive the copyright protection is so excellent on this game even its owners aren't allowed to play it :) Thankfully my money was returned, thanks Amazon!!!

so i got it then got nothing but errors saying original disc not found. a quick turned up that hey you need a new disc to play. Brand new game that wont work because manufacturing has not quality control? please dont bother buying this game since its just a crap shot on if it will work or not. so out of the 2 discs this came with one worked, the other didnt.

If you played DIII Renaissance and don't want more of the same, spend your money somewhere else. I had forgotten what DIII Ren was until I purchased Resurrection and I was mad at first because I thought I had just bought a game I already had.

I like the Disciples series. This one fixed some things I didn't like about the previous version of Disciples. However, there are a lot of glitches in this release. If you play the standard warrior mode you are ok. But if you try to play the Guildmaster mode it glitches up early in the game and you can't procede. That is extremely disappointing. So you are basically left with one mode you can actually work through. I also noticed that if you keep two werewolves in your band you're basically good to go through the whole game with ease.
