Brilliant game! Not much to add to others..their reviews sum it up... except there are 50 missions but missions 45 & 46 are locked...46 has the true ending...not 50. Unlocking 46 means doing missions 1 to 45..plus yellow highlighted side missions...plus listening to ALL the tape recordings. I wish people would stop giving one star because they couldn't get it running..or it needs downloading etc...you are supposed to be reviewing the game. And marking it down otherwise is giving an unfair representation of it at first glance. However, I can understand the frustration as it should be stated if it needs downloaded instead of it's description that the box contains the game. Played with 16gigs ram, I7 4770k cpu & gtx 970 g.card....ran flawlessly. Oh btw...when I could fulton out the containers...the quickest way to exit the area was to climb on top of on...fulton it..then grab the balloon & be extracted with it.

The best Metal Gear game as far as gameplay is concerned. In fact, the gameplay is the best of any game I've played. There are so many ways to approach missions; from the classic stealth techniques to all guns blazing. The tactical buddies add so much to the gameplay. You're choice of buddy and load-out sets you up for combat, stealth or a mixture of both. Fans of the series might be slightly disappointed with the lack of cutscenes driving the story forward. If you want a more story driven experience then I highly recommend that you carefully listen to the cassette tapes that you get at the end of the missions. These tapes give concise but thorough explanations about the significance of the mission and its affect on the story as a whole. In summary, I highly recommend this game to any gamer interested in a 40+ hour adventure.
