Metal Gear Survive op PS4 biedt een uitdagende survivalervaring met een sterke focus op resource management en basisbouw. De gameplay is spannend, vooral als je in co-op speelt, en het crafting systeem geeft voldoening. Toch zijn er duidelijke nadelen: de missies worden snel eentonig, het verhaal is zwak en de vijandelijke AI is vaak dom. Vooral het begin van het spel voelt oneerlijk zwaar aan, wat frustrerend kan zijn. Microtransacties en weinig variatie in multiplayer worden vaak als minpunten genoemd. Deze game is vooral geschikt voor spelers die van pure survival houden en minder waarde hechten aan verhaal of vernieuwing.

Online only. Can’t progress without online teams, and no one is playing it. Had to abort. But the gameplay was a lot of fun and familiar MGS controls. It’s a shame you can’t play solo or couch co-op.

The graphics are decent and the story isn't bad but the gameplay is wonky and leaves a bit to be desired. It's not a traditional game in this series and don't expect the game to carry on where MGS 5 left off. It's more starting over all again. And there's just too much competition for survivalist games that make this easy to dismiss. You do have an opportunity to play online as a group of 4 and maybe many, like myself, just didn't have the patience and time to get into this title.

As with the other Metal Gear games the original auther Hideo Kojima is not the writer of this one. But it is still a good game to play. The only thing is that sucks is that you have to craft weapons and other things. The game is self explanitory, SURVIVE. Hey Konami!!!! Get HIDEO KOJIMA back on the team!!!!!!

Not bad but it got old quickly. Basically just an online game . I wish games would have campaigns but it seems I’m a dying breed and multiplayer is in right now!
