I just picked this up... without doubt the best multiplayer DS game out there! I bought Mario and Sonic but was very disappointed with it. I was very reluctant to get "Track and Field" as I thought it would be more of the same but its a much more satisfying gaming experience than Mario and Sonic. This is a proper game with an awesome online multiplayer mode. Buy with confidence or simply check out the reviews on the web...speaks for itself!

I bought this for my son who enjoyed getting the medals and played for hours until he hit higher levels and found difficult to progress quickly.

This game is great fun, but I have just got a DSi XL and don't want to play it for fear of scratching the screen with my stylus. May have to give it a go as a button basher instead (there is an option to do this).

Any year with the Olympic Games is a good year for Olympic games. At least, that seems to be the idea behind New International Track and Field, A DS facelift of Konami's old Track and Field franchise. After lying dormant for eight years, the game made a sudden reappearance now that there were coat tails to ride on, namely those of Beijing. But do they really need an excuse to make another minigame compilation for the DS?

The New International Track & Field features over 20 different athletic events, with several unlockable characters from other Konami franchises, such as Pyramid Head from Silent Hill 2 and Sparkster from Rocket Knight Adventures.
