LEGO In de Ban van de Ring voor Nintendo DS biedt een grappige en toegankelijke versie van het bekende verhaal, met veel levels en locaties die fans zullen herkennen. Het spel is vooral leuk voor kinderen en gezinnen, maar de grafische kwaliteit en besturing zijn minder goed dan op andere platforms. Ook is de handleiding beperkt en zijn er weinig extra's. Voor wie op zoek is naar een eenvoudige, humoristische game is dit een prima keuze, maar wie meer diepgang of betere graphics wil, kan beter een consoleversie overwegen.

I can't even play it. Every time I try to play this on my PS3, it won't load. At all. Super disappointed because from what little I saw of the game play it looked like an amazing game.

Big fan of the Lego games and this one is no exception, great overall gameplay combined with great graphics makes this a must own for both LOTR fans and Lego fans alike!

Probably my favorite Lego Game out of all the ones made up to 2019. The game is also what got me to watch the movies and really got me into fantasy RPGs down the road.
