As I prepare to write about Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed , I have two adjectives in mind. Before I get to those, though, I'd like to explain the game's setup. Essentially, you run around a digital recreation of Akihabara, tearing clothes off men and women who might be secret vampires called Shadow Souls. Those monsters are sucking blood and turning healthy Japanese young people into shut-ins with no prospects. A secret war is being waged against those who represent the future of the human race, and the bad guys have the edge. But they also turn to ash when exposed to direct sunlight, especially when there's a lot of it all at once. Hence the stripping. If you can disrobe them, they cease to be an issue. Because they are dead. Very, very dead.
