Kinectimals is een visueel aantrekkelijke game die vooral jonge kinderen aanspreekt met zijn schattige dieren en kleurrijke wereld. De Kinect-besturing werkt meestal goed, vooral bij het uitvoeren van trucjes en interacties, maar het gooien van ballen kan frustrerend zijn door onnauwkeurige detectie. De game biedt veel mini-games en activiteiten, waardoor er genoeg te doen is, maar na verloop van tijd kan het repetitief aanvoelen. Het spel is duidelijk ontworpen voor een jong publiek; volwassenen zullen het sneller saai vinden. Ook zijn sommige menu's onhandig opgebouwd, wat het gebruiksgemak vermindert. It was the first game I’d seen on the commercial for the Kinect console, and it is one of my family’s favorite games. The game is set up in a way that you can’t help feeling that your cub is your pet. There are so many activities you can do with your animal that you are kept moving the whole time. It’s the only game that I have to suggest that my kids have a break and rest for a while!

My grandson plays this one, he said he does not fully love it because he said when he turns it off he is not on the same level when he turns it back on.
