Pro Evolution Soccer 6

I think this game is excellent for XBOX 360. It is a better game than two of my other PES games 2010 and PES 2012 in some ways.

I blame myself for getting so excited really. Being an avid fan of the game on the PS2, and a pretty good player if I do say so myself, I was looking forward to testing myself online on the 360 version. I was sorely disappointed. I can fully understand how the Konami execs must have seen a cash cow in front of them and rushed it out, but it's still no excuse. The gameplay is woeful. If you try to pass to anyone off-screen, you can pretty much guarantee you'll lose the ball. And the bias towards the attackers is stunning- any real-life defenders who were so slow to turn and so unskilled defensively would be dropped immediately. Which is what the 360 version of Pro Evo, bereft of half the PS2 features or fun, deserves to be.

I think the 360 version may have been rushed to get it out, hopefully the next one will have more stuff in it. Overall worth buying, a million times better than the other football game out (which i won't mention as it is so bad) but could be better. Get this game if you love football games but you will get frustrated with the AI when playing against the computer as they tend to get a lot of desicions. Good fun though especially with mates!!!

Match mode on this is good but master league is annoying. When you start with original PES members you can hardly ever win. Computers can run 3 times faster than you, can take your ball off without any foul whatever they do, you pass so slow it just gets taken all the time, the ball goes way off even though youre only couple of yards away, you can never score first and let them not score. You can't catch up with the computer when they run, you got a good chance for a yellow when you slide tackle, they can pass faster, you can double team and block computers way, but they still will go past you. The balance of the game is marvelous that I managed to win 5 matches out of god knows how many there are in a master league year. You lose - you don't get points - you can't get better players. I don't have good enough tolerence to keep losing for next 2 years until I can get better players.

i have been a big fan of PS for ages, prefer 4 and 5. this is the worst version to ever be relased. the chip shot is gone, players dont play as the real counterparts in real football, you want to power shoot and it either goes flying well over or does a little stupid dinky shot. what a dissapointmnet, going bak 2 fifa.
