De remake van XIII heeft een interessante spionageverhaallijn met politieke thema's en een verscheidenheid aan wapens en gadgets. Echter, het spel wordt geplaagd door technische problemen, slechte graphics en animaties, en audio-synchronisatieproblemen. Hoewel het spel op moderne consoles beter presteert, ontbreekt het aan de kwaliteit van de originele versie uit 2003. Voor fans van de serie kan het de moeite waard zijn, maar anderen zouden misschien beter de originele versie spelen.
