Dragon Quest Builders 2 op de Nintendo Switch biedt spelers veel creatieve vrijheid, een lange speelduur en de mogelijkheid om samen te bouwen in co-op. De game wordt geprezen om zijn variatie, verbeterde gameplay en grote hoeveelheid content. Wel zijn er regelmatig framedrops en prestatieproblemen, vooral bij grote bouwwerken. Ook zijn er veel dialogen, wat het tempo soms vertraagt, en kan de camera soms lastig zijn. In handheld-modus gaat de batterij snel leeg. Over het algemeen is het een aanrader voor fans van bouwen en avontuur, maar houd rekening met deze technische beperkingen.

.. so, not a fan of those "survival/build" games, ie minecraft, 7DTD, etc. But this one, with a story, progression system, etc, made it all the more fun and like i was actually working towards something.

Love this game. A unique builder game with a fun story and a sense of humor. It's one of those games that both kids and adult could play and get something different out of the story.

How this has a rating for starting age 10 and up is mind blowing to me. As a Christ centered household, this is so far from being acceptable, especially for children. There’s talk or praising, worshiping and praying to the monsters in gameplay. Profanity. Pretty intense violence. Parents beware of what you’re allowing your kids to play. We shut this off less than 30 seconds in. It will be returned/traded in.

I haven't finished the game, but is really good and fresh after playing many of the mainline DQ titles. The game came with the original case, though the artwork inside the case was kinda of wrinkled, the game came complete and even the DLC code wasn't used, wich was really surprising.

Came with no cover, which is fine, since it was used. I made myself a replacement cover and it should do the job. About the game itself I can't say anything, since it was a gift for someone else.
