Luigi's Mansion 2 (selects) voor 3DS biedt leuke puzzels, ghost-catching en veel humor. De verbeterde besturing en graphics maken het aantrekkelijker dan het origineel. Door de missie-structuur kun je niet vrij rondlopen en voelt het soms herhalend, vooral bij herhaalde gebieden. Regelmatige onderbrekingen door Professor E. Gadd halen je uit het spel. Er is geen nieuwe content voor wie het origineel al speelde. Toch zorgen de verborgen edelstenen, multiplayer en charmante animaties voor veel plezier en her-speelbaarheid. Sommige gevechten zijn lastig door krappe ruimtes, maar over het algemeen is het een vermakelijke en toegankelijke game voor puzzel- en avontuurliefhebbers.

Het spel is volgens de verkoper ALS NIEUW, maar blijkt geen boekje te hebben. Staat wel ergens in een uitvouwschermpje dat sommige spellen geen boekje meer hebben, maar het slaat natuurlijk nergens op om die kwalificatie eraan te geven. Ik vind het misleidend.

Excellent game. I played through it with my son aged 5. I grew up with the games and systems of the 80’s and 90’s and games like Luigis Mansion 2 on the 3ds ( or 2ds as ours is ) are really what games are all about to me. A challenge, a story, a lot of fun and some great game mechanics and ideas. The DS has a few absolute gems and this is one of them. I played the original on the gamecube and this is a much improved game.

I'm guessing it's just what my grandson wanted. He plays with the DS constantly.
