Mario Sports Superstars biedt vijf verschillende sporten in één game, wat zorgt voor veel variatie en speelplezier, vooral in multiplayer. De besturing is eenvoudig en geschikt voor jong en oud. Toch voelen alle sporten wat oppervlakkig aan en missen ze de diepgang van losse Mario sportgames. Vooral baseball is erg beperkt en snel saai. De audio wordt snel repetitief en de optionele amiibo-kaarten voegen weinig toe maar verhogen wel de kosten. Voor wie graag meerdere sporten in één pakket wil, is het een degelijke keuze, maar fans van één specifieke sport kunnen beter een gespecialiseerde Mario-game kiezen.

This has a good variety of sports games, but you have to figure out which button does what for each game. Not all of them work the same! For example, in one game you may have to use the B button to jump, but in another game, you may have to use A to jump even though this is on the same disc.

Got this originally just to play the baseball on it but actually found the soccer to be enjoyable as well. The whole game is very good. I think if they could make a sequel for this it would include American football and I am no football fan either.

My daughter loved the game, but was disappointed because it did not include the amiibo card as stated.
