Monster Hunter: Tri

I haven’t played my Wii in ages. I got into mh from world and after 1600 hours in that game I decided to buy this and break out the old Wii. Honestly couldn’t be more overjoyed with how good this game is. If you come from the ps2 era of gaming then the graphics will be perfect even though it’s not hd. It’s so colourful and creative. Great game except that Capcom and Nintendo stopped supporting the online server which kept ALL of our gameplay in Moga Village. This keeps us from being able to update armor and weapons beyond low rank stats making them very weak as the armor can get us killed in one hit. Now, we are solid players with 5 characters at HR999 on Ultimate. But armor with a def of 120 at the highest is pretty worthless.

Never really played this series before. I had one of them on psp that I put maybe an hour into. So I went into this game/series blind and unknown to what it is. First things first, I love the game. It keeps you moving and learning on a nice learning curve. Some things could have been better explained, such as equipping weapons and armor. I wasted money on a heavy weapon that I hated and could not figure out how to equip my dagger. This is an easy fix with Google by your side so it didn't truly affect my gameplay. I love hunting for specific items for weapon and armor sets. All around this game is really good. Even for the Wii the graphics hold up nicely.

I rented the game from the library before. Having it is much better. It's in great condition and plays well. wonderful.
