Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country is een uitgebreide, standalone DLC die zich afspeelt vóór de gebeurtenissen van de hoofdgame. Het grootste pluspunt is het verbeterde, snellere gevechtssysteem waarin je vrij kunt wisselen tussen Drivers en Blades, wat het gevecht dynamischer en toegankelijker maakt. Het verhaal geeft diepgang aan bekende personages en gebeurtenissen, wat fans zeker zal aanspreken. De game introduceert handige kwaliteit-van-levenverbeteringen, zoals betere tutorials en een overzichtelijk community-systeem voor sidequests. Toch moet je tijdens het hoofdverhaal verplicht sidequests doen om verder te komen, wat het tempo vertraagt. De moeilijkheid neemt aan het einde flink toe en de graphics zijn niet veel verbeterd ten opzichte van de hoofdgame. Al met al is dit een sterke uitbreiding voor fans, maar minder geschikt voor wie geen geduld heeft voor verplichte side-activiteiten.

Great story and characters, somewhat complex but very fun battle mechanics, cinematics and open world environment are stunning. Well worth it if you’d like to delve into the xenoblade series with a shorter game or view the back story for events from xenoblade 2

Xenoblade is such a great game. I did not know I was gonna love it as much as I do. I think I’ve enjoyed this game as much, if not more, than Zelda botw. This game also can be played for like years

Battle system is way deeper than seems...took halfway through the game for the system to finally click for me. Developer does slowly introduce and explain system “mostly” well. Maybe watch a few videos to see how the systems works and the amazing things you can do.

Must play for anyone who enjoyed Xrnoblade Cronicles 2. Finally get to see the behind the scenes jokes and knowledge. Mythra in the past was entertaining to meet, really a different blade.
