Resident Evil 4 voor PS4 wordt geprezen om zijn prachtige graphics, spannende actie en sterke sfeer. De campagne is lang en afwisselend, met veel momenten van spanning en horror. Het geluidsontwerp draagt sterk bij aan de beleving. Wel zijn er klachten over de soms stijve besturing en camera, wat vooral in hectische gevechten kan storen. Ook missen sommige fans bepaalde elementen uit het origineel. Het richten kan in het begin lastig zijn door lichte trillingen, maar dit verbetert naarmate je verder komt. Over het algemeen is dit een zeer sterke remake die vooral actie- en horrorfans zal aanspreken.

Was really looking forward to playing the HD version. The graphics are great however the controls are hard to use. Aiming is tough and movements are jerky making it hard to have fun with. I wouldnt recommend it.
