Good,

I got this game for my 10 year nephew, he is always wanting to get new games, so I come to Amazon to get them since they are cheaper then in the stores, and there is a larger variety for him to pick from. It didn't care for the game at first, but once he figured out how to play it and what he had to do, he loved it! It's one of his favorite games to play now.

Fun novelty for the cost

This game is entertaining for things like: long car trips, plane flights, or times when you're sick in bed. Other than those times, I don't ever play this game... It is basically a puzzle game, with the added element of break dancing. The initial amusement wears off, but this is a solid game for such a low price. I would recommend this game for younger kids especially. My age: 21.

If you're an 8 year old boy....you'll love it!

I bought this game for my nephew, who is obsessed at the moment with break-dancing. I have not played the game myself since it was a birthday present for him, but what I can say is he barely even opened and looked at his other birthday presents after getting this game! He didn't even want to put it down to blow out the candles on his cake! He think's it's "super cool" and just loved the graphics and animations of the dancers. From what I could see peering over his shoulder, the gameplay is simple. You use the stylus to connect dots or marks on the screen similar to connect-the-dots. You have to do it quickly, and if you combine enough, your break-dancer will do 'moves' on the top screen and earn points. I'm sure there is much more to it listed in the user manual, but for an eight year old, he was able to pick it up and play right away. This by itself to me makes a good game!

Different, interesting...

I wasn't quite sure what to expect since there were NO reviews about this game, so I took a chance when I bought it. I got it on clearance at a local store so I figured I couldn't go wrong... and I didn't. The objective of the game is to make your characters dance/breakdance by performing a series of geometrical shapes. It sounds odd, but it's pretty interesting. You have to have fairly good hand/eye coordination to really pull it off. For example, you will be given four dots in which you will connect all four dots to make a square. Then make triangles out of 3 of the dots and so on. For those who enjoy rhythm based games, you should give it a try, and for the money, you really can't go wrong.

It's good, simple fun

I'm not sure what I was expecting when I first got my hands on this game. Perhaps I envisioned a fighting-type game where I'd just be madly pushing any and all buttons and keeping my metaphorical fingers crossed that something would connect. But instead, I was quite pleasantly surprised to find the Red Bull BC 1 game is in fact more of a puzzle game than an action game. And I like it. Yes, the graphics are simple, the B-boys comments are a bit naff, and there's only one realistic skin colour to choose from in the player wardrobe, but as you will notice from the cover of the game, it's aimed at players who are 3-years-old and over, so it's not about being the most technically amazing game available, it's about having some simple fun. And in that respect, Red Bull BC 1 ticks all the boxes.
