Sniper Elite V2 Remastered op Switch biedt een unieke snipersimulatie met realistische ballistiek en een bevredigende X-Ray Kill Cam, maar de graphics zijn gedateerd en bewegingen voelen wat houterig. Alle DLC’s zijn inbegrepen en stealth wordt beloond, maar close combat is minder sterk. De motion controls zijn een pluspunt, maar multiplayer is weinig actief. Geschikt voor fans van tactische shooters, minder voor wie moderne graphics en soepele actie verwacht.

If you enjoy first or third person shooter games, if you enjoy war games, if you wanna capture videos of skulls exploding, eyes popping or legs snapping, Sniper Elite V2 is for you, the single/co-op campaign is great fun and challenging, the controls are fast and very easy, the load times are incredibly fast, online multiplayer is some of the best I’ve ever played, there’s lots of big, open maps, a billion hiding spots to snipe your enemies unexpectedly from. Just remember, this is a sniper game, using other types of weapons are inaccurate, and although the pace of the game is amazing, it gets quite action packed, running toward your enemies with a Thomson or AK47 will likely lead to you dying. I highly recommend you buy this on Nintendo Switch, you won’t be disappointed.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered lacks any of the polish typical with modern remasters and struggles under the weight of dated design and poor presentation. What could have been a fun little jaunt through Nazi territory devolves into an altogether lackluster experience. Only for the most die-hard sniper fans.
