Using the unlimited credits cheat, you’re more free to experiment with your armies as you’re not bound to the fate of what happens in battle. Your ideas don’t work? Just rebuild differently until you’ve got a winning combination. Much of the gameplay in Stormrise comes down to trial and error. Why not eliminate some of that error with the hand of god cheat. Using this cheat, you’ll be able to heal your squads before you lose them. The cheats in Stormrise add the freedom to be much more creative with the game’s lackluster engine. This frustrating, broken mess is one of the worst strategy games in years.

The control system is pants and very frustrating. Selecting units half way accross the map when you want the guy stood next to you! watching the action is pants and also very frustrating. You cannot guage the damage being done to units because confronted with a larger force they simply fall over and die - you cant guage the attrition rate. Overall PANTS!

Please note this is a PC review perspective This game has the most backward control system ever attempted for an RTS. I know it's supposed to be a console game only ported but the fact that it's supposed to play in a fast passed fashion you really need to spend the hours getting good at it to be able to handle the controls. The whole feel of the controls also reminds of a 3rd person action game with a few squad based elements thrown in. Also the fact that the game is DX10 vista only puts it out of reach. Give this game a pass unless you are really desperate for modern mech action.

This product claims to be Platform XP here but I just made teh mistake of purchasing from GAME and it's Vista only! So don't commit unless your OS is Vista!
