No Straight Roads

Overall a very nice game. It does get a little slow when you have to walk around and collect power bulbs (my dad gets really bored of this) but I personally don't mind. I have a calmer personality so slower games don't bother me and I actually enjoy them. The music/fighting portions are pretty cool and fun to listen to. Overall it's a little slow but a good game to chill with.

This game has music that will heal your soul, its a guided open world game so you have tons of freedom but you’re not totally lost. I’ve been waiting for a game like this since the jak and dextor series came out. This game will touch your heart and make you feel like the characters have real thoughts and emotion. A great representation of the corruption in modern day american government

No Straight Roads is een vermakelijk avontuur. Uitschieters hier zijn de personages en diens vormgeving, alsook de unieke gameplay elementen op basis van ritme. Helaas werkt het laatstgenoemde niet helemaal vlekkeloos, waardoor we soms toch even “off-beat” moesten gaan met onze aanvallen. Daarnaast is in je eentje spelen niet echt een aanrader, gezien jouw computergestuurde partner ongeveer net zo nuttig is als vulmiddel in een gieter stoppen. Geen slechte eerste indruk van ontwikkelaar Metronomik, maar we zijn vooral benieuwd wat deze studio in de toekomst gaat doen. Wellicht een vervolg, met de kritiekpunten geperfectioneerd? Time will tell…

No Straight Roads succeeds in blending its unique art style and wonderful soundtrack with its gameplay mechanics. However, those same mechanics often face annoying issues that hinder the flow of combat.
