An homage to some enemies of old. Copious new features and content to match. This should keep us busy for a while.

Shadowkeep is taking its first steps in a newly focused Destiny that might not offer a lot, but strongly delivers on what it does. While it's hard to say whether Bungie can maintain this promised trajectory for the course of the expansion, the signs so far are encouraging.

Reviewing a live game, let alone a live game that I truly love has been quite a challenge. Separating my objective opinion from my rose-tinted glasses was my primary goal. That was until my objective side started to agree with my passionate side. Everything Bungie has done since their split with Activision has been something that I’ve approved of in some form or another. Bungie classifying Destiny 2 as an RPG as well as an MMO is one example. Destiny is becoming a live game that can exist for many years. All of this and more have been ideologies Bungie has not only embraced but jumping in headfirst.

I already had the Destiny 2 disc. This is an upgrade disc..I got the disc and the code..No instruction book..I went to PS4 code redemption, typed the code, hit enter and, boom! next thing I know, I was taking care of MORE serious Guardian bidness! I really don't like to deal with inserting discs, but one can use the first Destiny 2 (which automatically updated to Forsaken without the content on this disc). I hope this helps.
