Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville biedt een kleurrijke, levendige wereld vol humor en veel verschillende multiplayer-modi. Spelers waarderen de uitgebreide aanpassingsmogelijkheden en het ontbreken van microtransacties bij de lancering. Toch zijn er duidelijke minpunten: de besturing en het richtkruis voelen onnauwkeurig, en input lag kan frustrerend zijn, zelfs op krachtige systemen. Daarnaast brengt het spel weinig nieuws voor fans van Garden Warfare 2 en kan de gameplay na verloop van tijd oppervlakkig aanvoelen. Over het algemeen is het een leuke shooter voor wie houdt van chaos en teamplay, maar verwacht geen grote vernieuwing of diepgang.

I wasn't told that the game would come come in a clear case, without the images and descriptions on it, I would have never bought it if I knew that. GameStop is starting to be very unreliable.

He was a bit disappointed that is was not more like the original game and at the difficulty. He is 17 Autistic and severely ADHD with an IQ between 3rd & 5th grade. Games are one of the only things he can do and be successful at right now. So....

Having played PvZ 1 & 2, I was very excited about another game, but this one falls short. Looks to have been developed solely by Popcap without EA, which I guess would explain it. The combat system just feels poor and unsatisfying. The gameplay is kind of boring without all the different iterations of the characters. And despite it still being the same engine, graphically it falls well short of even the first Gardenwarfare game.

My son is a big Fortnite kid…but this game took all his attention. He loves this game and the characters. A lot of fun.
