Merge Games Sparklite Standaard Duits, Engels, Spaans, Frans, Italiaans, Portugees PlayStation 4

It's a fun rogue-like with progress points to try and accomplish each run, and when you do you get new abilities. About as much story as you can expect from a rogue-like, maybe a little more. The graphics aren't top of the line or anything, but it has a very cute and fun atmosphere. All around, I'm quite enjoying the game and plan to play through it!

Sparklite is surprising, and that comes from someone who played the demo at PAX West a few years ago. It lures you in with its adorably retro 2D charm than over delivers in terms of story and gameplay. Thanks to a combination of smart story reveals, and an addictive gameplay structure, you don’t want to put down Sparklite. You keep coming back for more even if you’re more than able to stomp the final boss.

Sparklite is a charming little adventure game drawing inspiration from titles like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Red Blue Games tries hard to create something special in Sparklite and succeeds to a certain extent. Unfortunately, its shortcomings hold it back from reaching the same heights as the titles it grabs inspiration from. Sparklite takes place in Geodia, a land being torn apart by the Barion. The Barion digs through the earth searching for a rare mineral called Sparklite. In doing so, The Barion is tearing the world apart and the last few remaining humans take refuge on a small floating blimp. Ada, a young mechanic takes it upon herself to stop The Barion and return Geodia to its once prospering state.
