Lost Sphear | Nintendo Switch

Story is lacking and the mechanics feel clunky and unfinished. It has beautiful scenery and art but that's about as far as it goes.

This is a good little game if you know how to take it. It’s no BoTW or Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It’s also far from the best you’ll see come from anything associated with Square Enix but what it is is a great little RPG that you can play in handheld without needing to kill your Switch’s battery or give 23 out of your 24 hours in a day. The battle system is a little too deep for what it is but frankly you can get by more than well enough with basics anyway. It’s a very linear game but that makes it quick to play with it’s autosave function and many save points scattered throughout the game. The negative reviews I read for this game seem to be people not quite being able to understand that’s it’s not a billion hours long RPG and it’s also not Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy 6 even though it does pay homage to them. I’m really enjoying this game when I’m a bit stuck for time. I say play if you want an RPG that doesn’t require you to sell your soul/social like to play it! :D

This is brill, the story is such a good one and the detail stunning. Glad I brought this one.
