Supreme Commander 2 biedt grootschalige, vloeiende gevechten en is toegankelijker dan zijn voorganger, waardoor het aantrekkelijk is voor nieuwe spelers. De strategische zoom en diverse eenheden maken het spel dynamisch. Toch zijn het verhaal en de campagne oppervlakkig, en is de strategische diepgang verminderd ten opzichte van het origineel. De grafische stijl en mapgrootte zijn versimpeld, wat ervaren spelers minder aanspreekt. Het spel is vooral leuk online, maar mist de unieke complexiteit van de eerste Supreme Commander.

gets boring as it goes on. the shallow unit limity really dampens the gameplay. also dont like the building animations as they seem stupid and pc resource greedy.

First off, the game is awesome. I didn't realize this , but Square Enix helped develop it. The Computer provides a nice challenge as well. And oddly enough , the factions are well balanced and fun to play. And the graphics are actually pretty decent. The only downside is that in the last few days, the game hasn't worked. Hopefully it's just a GOG glitch because I really enjoy this game.

Long story short - it i a fail in the series. Less units, buildings and scale. Tiny maps is awful! I bought it just to see where the story goes, not that impressive.

This game is really bad if you compare it to Forged Alliance. Extremely simplified, optimized for the Xbox 360 console. Not even supporting multiplayer on GoG makes it even more absurd.
