Assassin's Creed Mirage (PS5)

Assassin’s Creed Mirage returns to the roots of the franchise, but doesn’t bring anything new to the table, at least nothing important. This is far from being a bad game, but it’s certainly not a breath of fresh air for an antiquated series. The things that pull Assassin’s Creed Mirage out of the mediocrity pool are the setting, voice acting and soundtrack. Although I had an enjoyable experience playing Mirage, I can’t shake the feeling that I’ve already played this game numerous times in the past. Het is weer een beetje de oude assassin's creed feeling. Pick pocketing is weer terug, daar ben ik zeer over te spreken.

Op zich een prima spel. Mooie graphics en een inspirende omgeving in het oude Baghdad. De focus is teruggebracht naar stealth, zoals assassins creed oorspronkelijk is bedoeld. Dit heeft er echter wel toe geleid dat het spel een zeer korte verhaallijn heeft en ook de side quests vallen tegen. Ik heb het verhaal in zo'n 12 uur uitgespeeld en een volledige 100% synchronisatie inclusief alle throphies in 22 uur. Twee weekenden plezier voor een spel van bijna 50 euro vind ik toch wel wat karig. Daarnaast ben ik een aantal bugs tegengekomen en is de AI nog niet altijd even slim.

Heb het nu een aantal uur gespeeld en het voelt echt weer als Assassin's creed van 2007.

Als je klaar bent met rpg assassins creed is dit echt een aanrader stealth op nummer 1
