LEGO City: Undercover biedt een grote, levendige open wereld vol humor en verzamelobjecten. De gameplay is toegankelijk en leuk voor jong en oud, met veel voertuigen en personages om vrij te spelen. Wel kan het verzamelen van honderden objecten repetitief aanvoelen en is het wisselen van vermommingen niet altijd handig. Ook zijn er regelmatig lange laadtijden en blijft het verhaal oppervlakkig. Voor wie houdt van LEGO-humor en verkennen is dit een aanrader, maar verwacht geen diepgaande verhaallijn.

I like the fact a lot of tasks are verbally announced so someone without great reading can complete challenge, my whole family love game, suitable for all age groups / abilities
