De Turtle Beach Recon 70N is een betaalbare gaming headset die vooral uitblinkt in comfort en eenvoudige compatibiliteit met verschillende platforms. De microfoon is duidelijk en geschikt voor spraakchat, maar de geluidskwaliteit mist diepte in de bas en klinkt soms vlak. De bouw is volledig van plastic en voelt goedkoop aan, wat de duurzaamheid beperkt. Door de matige geluidsisolatie hoor je veel omgevingsgeluid en lekken je eigen geluiden naar buiten. Voor wie een eenvoudige, lichte headset zoekt voor lange speelsessies zonder hoge verwachtingen van geluidskwaliteit, is dit een prima keuze. Wie meer bas of draadloze opties wil, kan beter verder kijken.

Good Points: Clear, loud and easy-to-mute mic. Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Decent sound quality. Good wire length. Improvement Points: The thinner plastic portion where the earcups connect to the headband looks a bit tacky.

Improvement Points: Worked for several minutes before crackelled and broke, sound cut out and never worked again. Disappointing.
