De Razer BlackShark V2 Pro voor PlayStation is een lichtgewicht esports-headset die uitblinkt in comfort en batterijduur. Met zijn 320 gram gewicht en dikke memory foam oorkussens kun je urenlang gamen zonder druk of warmte-opbouw. De 50mm titanium drivers leveren heldere audio met goede ruimtelijke weergave, vooral belangrijk voor competitieve shooters waar voetstappen en positie cruciaal zijn. Het grote pluspunt zijn de pro-afgestelde FPS-profielen voor games als Call of Duty en Fortnite, ontwikkeld met professionele gamers, die je direct op de headset kunt selecteren. De batterij gaat 70 uur mee en de HyperClear microfoon zorgt voor kristalheldere communicatie. Nadelen zijn de omgekeerde volumeregelaar die wennen vereist, de beperkte keuze aan slechts drie game-presets, en het ontbreken van een 3.5mm jack voor bedrade gebruik. De bass is uit de doos wat mager maar aanpasbaar via de EQ. Het schakelen tussen Bluetooth en draadloze modus voor app-aanpassingen kan omslachtig zijn. Voor competitieve console-gamers die comfort en auditief voordeel zoeken is dit een sterke keuze, maar wie meer aanpassingsmogelijkheden of simultane Bluetooth wil, moet daar rekening mee houden.

advantage : - lightweight - removable microphone (I hadn't noticed in the product description but I like it) - the headband is flexible - the sound is really good (my old headset was a razer too and I used to turn the volume up all the time but with this one I'm like at 25 and it's perfect) - I really like the little voice that warns you when the headphones are empty - good battery life - charges quickly - good microphone with good noise attenuation downside - slight discomfort in my ears at times - slight crackling in the right-hand side when I charge it, but it's not a nuisance

Probably the best headset I've ever had. It's easy to forget it's there on your head because it's so light. It's the perfect addition to my all-white teleworking set-up. The detachable microphone picks up sound extremely well and reproduces it very clearly when used with the 2.4 Ghz dongle supplied with the product. I didn't notice any 'noise' in the signal as with many headsets. The Razer Synapse software also allows you to process the input signal to find the right bass/midrange/tweeter balance. The listening experience is also excellent, and the spatial effect is appreciated. We're not talking about Hi-Fi headphones here, of course, but for both work and play, the sound quality is top-notch. To qualify my opinion, I have two criticisms of these headphones: both input and output quality deteriorate if you use them with Bluetooth. After a long gaming session, you may feel a slight discomfort in your ears.

Provided you don't mind going wireless only, the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro (2023) is pretty much everything you need in a gaming headset. What's more with the preset sound profiles and comfortable fit, these make for an excellent set of cans for movies and music too.

Adjustable headphones, very light, top finish, Autonomy is very good, around 70 hours on average, and the microphone is very decent for a wireless headset.

If anyone is thinking of buying these headphones, don't make my mistake. 200 pounds were thrown away. After 7 months of use, the mount of the left earphone broke, which happened by itself during the game, and after another 2 weeks, the right mount also broke, which is why it is impossible to use the headphones.
