Dior Hypnotic Poison EdT is een zeer krachtige, zoete amandel-vanille geur met een duidelijk gourmand karakter. Veel gebruikers prijzen de lange houdbaarheid en sterke projectie; met een paar sprays blijft de geur vaak 10 tot 12 uur aanwezig en levert hij vooral in de herfst en winter veel complimenten op. De marsepeinachtige, romige vanille wordt vaak als warm, sensueel en troostend ervaren. Tegelijk melden veel reviews een uitgesproken kunstmatige kant: in de opening ruiken sommigen steranijs, cola of zelfs Play-Doh en plastic, wat afstotend kan zijn als je daar gevoelig voor bent. De geur is bovendien erg zoet en kan snel kloyend of overweldigend worden, vooral bij oversprayen of in warm weer. Daardoor is Hypnotic Poison minder veelzijdig en vooral geschikt voor koelere dagen en avondgebruik. Wie van droge, subtiele of frisse parfums houdt, moet eerst testen voordat hij een grote flacon koopt.

Usually a good perfume, with lasting "smell". Brought form J Lewis as best "straightforward" price (no clubs or memberships required) and immediate turn around of order. Sent by royal mail, so door bell ring and handed over (not just slung in the garden like some couriers!) Also most likely to be genuine (unlike some previous purchases, which smelt different and faded quickly)
