Deze Rochas Moustache Eau de Parfum 125 ml deelt hetzelfde geur-DNA als de kleinere flacon en wordt online vaak genoemd als een van de beste koopjes in de mannenparfums. De geur opent fris en kruidig met citrus, maar komt pas echt tot zijn recht in de midden- en basisnoten, waar warme vanille, hout en amber samen met een zachte roos voor een elegante, licht sensuele uitstraling zorgen. Veel gebruikers melden een levensduur van ongeveer acht uur of meer, met een sillage die duidelijk aanwezig is zonder overdreven zwaar te worden. Daardoor werkt hij goed op kantoor, tijdens een date of als avondgeur. Tegelijk zijn er terugkerende opmerkingen dat de opening niet heel origineel is en voor sommigen wat synthetisch overkomt, en dat de geur vrij lineair blijft zonder grote wendingen. In erg warme zomerse omstandigheden kan de zoete, amberachtige basis ook wat zwaar aanvoelen. Voor wie echter een warme, volwassen en veelzijdige geur zoekt met een luxe indruk en een zeer scherpe prijs per milliliter, is deze grote 125 ml-flacon voor veel kopers een bijzonder aantrekkelijke keuze.

De parfum heeft een erg muffe geur. Na het opzoeken van het batch-nummer blijkt dat deze parfum geproduceerd is op 13/09/2018.. Meer dan 5,5 jaar oud dus... Na een aantal jaren gaat de geur van een parfum er op achter uit, dat is met deze dus gebeurd.

Moustache EdP is, at the closest, a highly abstract take on the original. With sweet mandarin in place of the reference sharp citruses and amped-up vanilla in the base (and, I suspect, some uncredited cashmeran), it’s a nearly gourmand interpretation of Moustache. Which is to say, barely Moustache at all. Change the name and bottle, and you have a perfectly nice scent—warm, smooth, and passably naturalistic as modern woody ambers go. At under $40 for 75ml from popular discounters, it’s a decent value: I’ve sampled a whole lot of fragrances that cost a lot more and smell a lot worse, so it gets a thumbs-up. That said, it’s not so distinctive that I need a bottle. I’ll stick with vintage Moustache.

I'll keep it short, the scent is not really very special in my opinion, but it has a certain delicious freshness, very lemony, and if you wait long enough, musk comes through. It is not intrusive at all and thus wearable in many situations, even for sports. I like it; it has something mature and smells modest yet also composed. Overall, a great scent for the price.

It is in my top 3 winter favorites. It is a warm and sweet fragrance. The pink pepper, the rose, the wood and the benzoin combination is just fantastic for cold time. I got very good projection 4/5, good sillage 3/5 and moderate projection 2.5/5
