Versace Eros Parfum is een warmere, kruidige en houtachtige interpretatie van de bekende Eros-lijn. De geur opent frisser met citrus en kruiden, maar ontwikkelt zich snel naar een romige mix van vanille, harsen en hout. Veel reviewers noemen hem volwassener en minder zoet dan de originele EDT, waardoor hij beter past bij mannen die een meer verfijnde versie van Eros zoeken. De parfumversie houdt duidelijk lang aan op de huid en de amber-vanille basis blijft uren merkbaar, al is de projectie minder luid dan bij sommige andere Eros-flankers. Dat maakt hem geschikter voor avonden, dates en koelere dagen zonder te overheersen. Wel mis je wat van de speelse, jeugdige "clubbing"-uitstraling van de originele Eros en ligt de prijs hoger. Kies deze versie als je de Eros-sfeer wilt, maar dan warmer, eleganter en minder schreeuwerig.

The Versace Eros Energy starts off strong. A wonderfully intertwined mix of various citrus fruits rises to the nose. As the title suggests, I immediately associate this scent with Nimm2 candies. The fragrance is synthetic/fruity/sweet/fresh. It also comes across as metallic/cool to me. It has a relaxed, youthful vibe. Not too sweet and not too fruity, it is well-balanced. In the dry down, it gains a bit of depth, becoming slightly more bitter and a touch harsher. But it doesn't change significantly. The citrus fruits remain until the end. Longevity and sillage are good for a freshie. Depending on how often I apply it, it lasts all day for me.
