Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Dark Leather Eau de Parfum 50 ml

Opens aromatic (light citrus?) and a bit fresh like, and Nutmeg. My party asked 'what musty fusty I just sprayed'. I smell a soft bit bomb at all light nutmeg smell. Leather comes in for me lightly on the dry down but overall, it's a skin scent very quickly and the only real projection was right in spraying. Up close (subjecting my partner to it) they claim it is a musty oakmoss and leather smell, some nuttiness, something musty planty'. There could be an aspect of nose blindness at work but I don't think so here.

I love all the Spice Bomb variations and this one is no exception. The scent is a little deeper and more masculine than the original Spice Bomb. A little bit goes a long way and it lasts all day.

This opwns up with tbe strength of Spice Bomb but with some beautiful black pepper and leather notes.

A very basic masculine fragrance. Only a "bomb" in terms of sillage — you would have to get very up close and personal with the wearer to suddenly notice it. Aggressively spicy within the first ~20 minutes of use, after which it quickly dissipates into a pleasant (if a bit too sweet) scent of a cozy little bar in the city on a quiet weekday. After about an hour and a half I smelled like I've recently been to a well kept modern church, and within 2 hours it was completely gone. It was consistently aggressively sweet on my skin, but rather neutral and leathery on my partner's. Unfortunately, it also wore off way quicker on him and became barely noticeable in barely an hour. So there's that. The flavor profile itself is lovely and I'd enjoy sitting in a space that smells like this, but as a perfume I found it to be rather faceless.
