It’s an absolutely beautiful bass, and I’ve used it in all my gigs so far. Only problem I have with it is all the sound techs have said the pick ups run extremely hot. I’ve worked with a bass tech to try and change this, but they’re already as far into the bass as they can go. Would definitely recommend trying in store before purchasing as this has become a problem for performing and recording with it.

Beautiful and great sounding bass (always loved Yamaha bases) but mine arrived with quite significant scoring on it. For a new instrument in box it wasn’t what I expected from a company I have always had high regard for and was always my first search when looking for equipment

Having not played bass for 30 years I thought I would pick it up again but didn't know which bass to choose. The Yamaha TRBX305 was on offer and had great reviews. After playing the action and sound are really good and a great choice to restart learning on after all that time. I would definitely recommend.

Purchased as a guitar player looking to get into bass for Gospel and Funk genres, and was very pleasantly surprised by the build and sound quality. No sharp fret ends, good set up, and really like the super versatile active electronics.
