I've had this over 2 1/2 years by now which I cant believe its been that long already. I got it just before Christmas 2021 for $99 and as far as I'm concerned it does everything any expensicve Galaxy S model does. Got a good case for it and its very sturdy, put a big SD card in it. Has a good outward front camera and a "selfie" camera, which I rarely use that are both good for a $100 phone . I'm sure they've moved on to newer models already the way phones go, but I'll be keeping this for awhile longer still.

This phone came with a defect of something because it wouldnt respond, and the battery ran out faster than the old phone I was trying to replace.

Had this phone for 6+ months now and so far so good. Using T-Mobile service, the features, connections and apps work better than other mid-level phones that I had previously. The only negative would be a battery that requires charging every 2-3 days (my previous Motorola phones battery charge lasted up to 2 sometimes 3 weeks) but I'll take the weaker battery trade off because the other features are much better than the LG & Motorola phones I've previously used

It was a reasonably fast and capable phone for a good price. But about a year in, it would sometimes (every 4 months or so) get into a restart loop, where it would show the Android startup screen, then cycle off and back on again repeatedly. Online research showed that it was a motherboard issue. It was annoying, but I could get the phone to turn back on normally after some effort, like manually resetting multiple times, letting it die and recharging, or plugging it into a computer. But a few days ago, it got stuck on the startup screen and can't be revived. I was hoping to get more than 3 years out of this phone, but I guess that's decent considering the price. Still, I'm not inclined to buy another Samsung phone.
