Quality product, and although you can charge the Roam with any USB-C cable, this is a very tactile base for it to stand on. Means that your Roam becomes a full part of your Sonos system, because it’s always on: as opposed to needing to be turned on before it’s “found” by your Sonon network. Is it worth £44? Maybe not: I got mine on a deal for £25 which I think is a fair price.

Bluetooth made this speaker better than the play series but the sound from wifi connection was louder than bluetooth connection. I use bluetooth more so for me this is a downside that Sonos should consider to improve or make an update to solve

I use outdoors mainly and would like to have the option of hanging it at the beach or the terrace without worrying about getting it dirty (sand) or wet (water bath the terrace/garden) Would love it in the new khaki color you launched! Found it difficult to set it up...I think I made it by chance! Still love it!

Sonos Roam is a great portable addition to a Sonos setup, and is enjoyable to listen to, but buy it portability is your main focus, not sound quality.

Such a great sound for something so small. I have two set up as stereo pair and the sound is crisp. No lagging between the two.
