I've been using two of these regularly for some years now. I have not had any problem. The manufacturer certifies this product to offer security against the dreaded Stuxnet and related viruses. I can't tell whether it does that, but as far as I know, this is the only affordable USB that makes that claim. As a bonus, it also has a write-protect switch, which works well. Many or most USB devices can be infected by BadUSB and related viruses simply by plugging them into an infected computer, and they can spread the infection to another computer. Ordinary antivirus software does not provide a defense. The only effective defense is to use only USB devices that are secure against BadUSB. This is not to be confused with USB drives that encrypt your data. This product offers a type of computer security, but does not secure the data on the drive.

Knowing that these little beauties have firmware that cannot be overwritten with things like BadUSB brought me a lot of peace of mind at work. These work like a charm right out of the box with no hassle at all.
