De Toshiba Canvio Ready 2TB Zwart is een draagbare externe harde schijf met 2TB opslag. Very good value. I was looking for reliability, having had problems with Seagate and Western Digital drives before. I've attached this 2TB Canvio Ready drive to a USB port on the back of my TP-Link router, and formatted it with 5 partitions which I use for networked storage. Speed is limited by the USB2 port on the TP-Link router, but so far so good.

Really great value for money, fast and reliable. Bought to back up an older external in the event that the older one fails - the old one is mains powered whereas this one is powered by the connection to the laptop. Will be buying another one the next time I need to expand my capacity.

Fingerprint-resistant surface, silent enough, small rubber feet, USB 3.0 A - Micro-B (not like in the picture). 2Tb weighs 217 g + cable. The read/write speeds are not very impressive (see picture), if you are used to SSD speeds. Value is still good (especially I was buying this at the right time).

The description and title are quite misleading. I thought I could access this wirelessly (due to this: "Connectivity technology: Wired & Wireless" in the description, as well as in the title) and paid around £90 for it - and I'm annoyed now that the price has gone down to £55. Pros: It works. I find it easy to use with my Mac (which can sometimes be a problem) and have partitioned the disk to use as a Time Machine - this was very straightforward. There is a lot of space here for backing up my computer a few times over. Cons: Do not be fooled. It is definitely not wireless. It is quite loud when plugged in to the computer. It can be quite battery-intensive.

I'm giving it one star not because it doesn't work properly but because I feel tricked by the title. The product title claims that it is wired or wireless, but that's not a feature of the product. Don't be fooled like I was.
