Sennheiser e906 Dynamische Instrumentmicrofoon

E906 mic bought for live band use with guitar cabs. Absolutely delighted with the results - draped over the cab on a mic cable and centred on the speaker driver it captures all the cabs colour and voicing whilst rejecting other stage noise. Very prompt delivery, thanks guys. The mic is neater size than I imagined. It hangs nicely over amp or in a stand. It is louder and more open-sounding than my sm57. It seems closer to my beta57 but then, I am no audio expert. I have not tried it live yet, so can't say how feedback resistant it is for now. It picks up voice well if I talk to the back of it but it is designed to close mic an amp and a spoken voice would likely be overpowered by that. I feel it may be resistive to surrounding sounds. Zip case and stand clip included.

Really simple to use. My music teacher commented on the great mic’d amp sound via RockOutLoud platform when used direct into the Focusrite interface mixed with a vocal mic

I’m using this mic on my tilted valve amp and it sounds accurate. Only recently purchased so can’t yet comment on durability
