Sony ECM-LV1 Stereo Lavalier Microfoon

I am very unhappy with my purchase. I took the "old" item in that wasn't working; showed it to the salesman, told him what the problem is and he sold me something I completely can't use. I live 45 minutes away from Microcenter and I am in desperate need of this item. I am very unhappy. I brought the old unit in that doesn't work, showed it to him and he sold me the wrong thing.

Use it for gaming with a pair of headphones that don't have a microphone on them, works great and sounds fantastic. They're clipped to the cable of my headphones. Would be nice if the cable was slightly longer.

I've used Rode in the past and wanted something cheaper, but still good quality. At nearly half the price of the Rode Lavs this has been amazing. It's also a stereo mic, and the quality is incredible for the price. Bought it on recommendation and wasn't disappointed. Would recommend.

I have been using this in a sony Walkman professional WM-D6C to record social events with Dolby B encoding to eliminate tape hiss. The Walkman has been calibrated to the blanks used in testing. The microphone has a low noise floor and in such an ambient setting I cannot hear or notice hiss from the microphone. It carries a very realistic sound to human voices that when you place good headphones on feels like you are back in the room. The only downside is while the cable is sturdy it is a little on the thinner side, so I definitely think it should be taken care of. The other thing is the included wind sock can sometime come off in normal use. This happened while making a recording by the coast and thankfully my partner spotted it had come off as it rubbed against my bag it was clipped to. It has come off a couple of times since.

I use this mic in my live stream plug in to my rode go mic the sound is amazing
