De Vivanco SR 97 biedt een comfortabel ontwerp met zachte oorkussens en een verstelbare hoofdband, waardoor hij prettig zit bij langdurig gebruik. Het geluid is helder en redelijk gebalanceerd, maar volgens meerdere reviews is de audiokwaliteit niet bijzonder en vooral geschikt voor basisgebruik. Het gesloten ontwerp zorgt voor enige passieve isolatie, maar actieve noise cancelling ontbreekt of is minimaal. De bouwkwaliteit is eenvoudig en vooral van plastic, wat minder stevig aanvoelt. Er zijn geen extra functies zoals een microfoon of bediening op de kabel. Dit model is vooral geschikt voor wie een simpele, betaalbare koptelefoon zoekt zonder hoge verwachtingen van geluidskwaliteit.

I had previously purchased Vivanco SR96TV headphones and had been satisfied. Sadly I am extremely disappointed with the updated model SR 97TV headphones. The headband is no longer padded and the ear pads are smaller and less cushioned. Their construction looked cheap and flimsy. The headphones emitted a foul odour. The 3.5mm jack plug is no longer gold. The fit was tighter and uncomfortable.

Very good headphones. Sometimes I fall asleep in bed wearing them. I use them with my television so that I don't disturb the rest of my family whilst watching. They are excellent quality for the money.
