De LG TONE Free T90S zijn volledig draadloze in‑ear oordopjes met een 9,8 mm dynamische driver en ondersteuning voor hi‑res audio. De oordopjes bieden een accuduur tot 9 uur per lading en samen met de case tot 36 uur bij uitgeschakelde ruisonderdrukking. Met actieve ruisonderdrukking is de speeltijd tot ongeveer 5 uur. De oplaadcase bevat een 475 mAh batterij en ondersteunt zowel USB‑C als draadloos opladen. De oordopjes wegen ongeveer 5,7 g per stuk en zijn IPX4‑gecertificeerd.

The LG Tone Free T90S are packed with useful features: the case uses UV light to clean the earbuds, there's Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking, and they have multipoint connectivity. The active noise-cancelling (ANC) isn't best-in-class but it's still pretty effective, the sound is accurate, and you get plenty of custom audio settings in the adjoining smartphone app.
