Technics EAH-DJ1200

Quality of sound and loudness are excellent. The concept of the individually adjustable and "lockable" positions of the cups is excellent. The build quality of the adjusting mechanism isn't worth the "Technics" brand name and over time will quickly become loose. The overall size of the unit is disappointing, it feels like it was designed to be worn by a child, it's too small for effective operation in Single Ear (left) Monitoring postition. The Cables supplied are of a lower quality than the one supplied with the RP-DH1200 headphones as is the over all build quality. I've had 2 pairs of the RP-DH1200's the first lasted 10yrs, I still have the second pair (10yrs old now). I gave these headphones 4 stars because the drivers are superb and over time the unit will "stretch" to a better fit, and there is no loss of sound quality in a high volume environment.

An amazing set of dj phones - glad they got a rerelease!

Na 10 jaar de HD25 gebruikt te hebben (die ik ook erg fijn vind) eens wat anders geprobeerd. Deze Technics headphone voelt wel aan als het echte werk. Handig tasje zit erbij voor als ik hem meeneem in mijn rugtas naar de club. De headphone dempt geluid goed, wat handig is voor bijvoorbeeld drummen in een studio zonder gehoorschade op te lopen. + goed geluid + genoeg geluidsdemping + vervangbare kabel + kan hoge volumes goed aan - stukje duurder dan de HD25 die het jaren voor mij deed, MAAR deze technics is uiteindelijk wel gwn lekkerder ofzo (tot nu toe)

Bought these for a birthday present (not given yet!) they look good

I have recently just bought these after owning my RP-DJ1200 headphones for about 12 years. These are definitely a step up with a tighter response by the new drivers and more comfortable around my head. So refreshing to have a new set On to the next 12 years!
