De Sage the Smart Scoop is een luxe ijsmachine met compressor, waardoor je direct ijs kunt maken zonder vooraf te vriezen. Het apparaat biedt veel instellingen voor verschillende soorten ijs en levert meestal een romig resultaat. De 'keep cool'-functie houdt ijs tot 3 uur op temperatuur. Nadelen zijn de soms ijzige structuur door de lange bereidingstijd, een automatische sensor die niet altijd accuraat is, en het apparaat is vrij luid en groot. De prijs is hoog en de garantie relatief kort. De handleiding bevat weinig recepten, wat voor beginners lastig kan zijn.

I got this for my wedding and as a lifelong ice cream lover I’ve been so excited to have one. I love the pre cooling and the keep cool it makes the whole process so easy and the recipes are so delicious !!

Great ice cream so far . I have made 3 different types and flavours all easily done. I use my thermomix to prepare the ice cream then cool it in the fridge and then let the machine do its magic. Haven’t tried any of the other iced confections but if they are as good as the ice cream as I’m sure they are , it’s going to be a well used item

I actually have owned the scoop for several years, but had put it aside during the pandemic. I have recovered it and what a delight. It is simple to operate, makes delicious sorbet, sherbet and ice cream with ease. The flavors are excellent.

It has only ever worked for me once since I bought it I would never recommend this to Anybody. What a waste of money.
