HP Envy 6420e All-in-One Printer

As a printer i am sure it works just as well as any other printer but without the enforced contract to buy the ink for it, the printer is linked to the service, canceling the subcription disables the printer. i did not think such a thing was legal but here it is. dont buy this, the sooner we get rid of this kind of extrotion the better. i returned mine as soon as i found out about it.

Great printer, but incredibly hard to set up, and getting ink was really hard, as there was no flyer inside that was supposed to have a pin number on it.

All home users want is a printer that works, is simple to set up, simple to check ink levels etc. The set up is very fiddly through an app (how ludicrous). It doesn't have a proper or useful control screen. It doesn't even recognise its own cartridges most of the time! Really appalling. I've had it about 3 months, managed to print about 150 pages. It's now going in the bin! No more HPs for me.

I bought this printer under 1 year ago and have had nothing but problems with it. It is dreadful at colour printing, with lots of 'banding' and uneven print coverage. It constantly loses connection with my brand-new HP laptop. Honestly, I never write reviews on Amazon. But I feel obliged to help people from making the same massive mistake I did. Please don't buy this printer.

My old printer died on me after about 7 years so I ordered a new hp one. The first one sadly didn’t work so I changed my order and went for this one. It worked perfectly straight away. Happy with the price, print quality was excellent for what I need. Easy to connect to the WiFi and my iPhone too. It comes with 3 months free printer ink and I have already had my first delivery of hp ink. I like the idea of the monthly charge for ink very simple and easy to prevent running out of ink!
