This drive is definitely fast it has been very reliable no issues. It is my main OS drive and it runs Linux like a dream so very compatible with my daily usage. The capacity is the perfect sweet spot for my needs.

Failed after only 14TB Written. Not bootable anymore. I hope I can still copy the data to another SSD

She just needed an update and now she is flawless. These had a life length issue but with the new update all of that is fixed!! Thank you!

Worked for 2.5 years then died suddenly without warning. From reading online the 980 Pro range seems to have a very high failure rate. My Evo 970 has been working for many years without any issues. I am thankful that Samsung at least offers a decent warranty for these drives.
