I upgraded to the Samsung 980 1TB NVMe M.2 and the difference was immediate. Load times dropped dramatically, games launch almost instantly, and overall system responsiveness feels night and day compared to my old drive. Installation was straightforward and it worked perfectly right out of the box. I’ve been running demanding games and multitasking without any slowdowns, and the performance has been consistent and reliable. It also stays cool under load, which is a big plus. I got this product 6 years ago. Ive put it theough countless hours of gaming and editing. It has bever slowed down in speed what so ever. As for capacity at the time it was plenty enough for me at the time, I now see myself needing more. Deleting games and moving them onto a separate hardrive is a frequent thing now. Compatibility was a non issue from the start as nvme drives are pretty standard these days.
