De Philips Lumea Advanced levert effectieve IPL-resultaten voor een betaalbare prijs, maar vereist veel geduld. Gebruikers melden dat na 4 behandelingen de meeste haren verdwenen zijn, vooral op gevoelige zones zoals oksels en bikinilijn. Het grootste nadeel is de behandeltijd: volledige benen doen kan tot een uur duren door de kleinere behandelvensters en langzamere flitsfrequentie. Het apparaat wordt ook snel warm en moet regelmatig afkoelen. Hoewel er geen SmartSkin-sensor is zoals bij duurdere modellen, werkt de handmatige intensiteitsinstelling goed na een huidtest. Het is praktisch pijnloos op benen maar kan prikken op gevoelige plekken. Voor kleine lichaamsdelen uitstekend, maar wie grote oppervlakten wil behandelen moet geduld hebben of overwegen extra te investeren in een sneller model.

I am liking this so far, I do have quite thick hair and it’s been about 2 months since I started using the Lumea and I’ve noticed that my hair grows back more slowly (it’s def noticeable) and on my arms and legs it’s definitely less thick too. I wish it worked on darker skin as on some parts of my body it flashes red so it dosent work, but I am overall happy and I do think this will eventually lead to permanent hair removal at the rate I am going

I've had this almost 2 years. It works well in eliminating hair, albeit a bit painful but defo worth it. I pretty much don't need to shave or use this anymore on my legs, arms and underarms. BUT!! After one year of usage it started to overheat crazy. And once it started to, it worsen very quickly. At this point I can only do about 8-10 flashes before the heat burns my skin. The treatment gets very painful bc of it. I will have to turn it off and wait for it to cool down which is tedious and super time consuming. And I definitely can't do bikini line as it burns my skin. I'm very disappointed and considering buying braun for my next one

On my first treatment, I didn't get enough ideas how to use it. But before my 2nd treatment i had a research and study on it. I saw the difference, there were less hair and even after 2 weeks my hair didn't grow that much! My skin tone is not drak but I can't use the laser in some part of my body like under arms, also the boney parts of my body like knees. Otherwise the product is amazing!

Used this IPL machine a few times now and I’m finding the hair re-growth is much slower than my old cheap and nasty machine that I used to use. Easy to use, doesn’t burn, light to hold. I’m very happy.
