APC will not warranty the RBC48 or any other battery regardless of where you bought it. The only warranty afforded you is if you buy a complete unit. I bought a battery from their suggested online partner and it went bad a year later. I'm out ~$90. That's a lot for 18 months of service.

Maakt nauwelijks geluid, klein genoeg voor in de meterkast. Met de 3rd party software Apsupsd voor Linux/Windows/OSX kun je de UPS op 1 apparaat (server) uitlezen via USB en de andere clients in het netwerk luisteren dan naar de server en schakelen dan ook uit (configureerbaar) na een bepaalde tijd.

Naar aanleiding van de klachten over de geluidsproductie bij o.a. de APC Back-UPS gekozen voor de kleinste Smart-UPS. Deze UPS maakt geen geluid, geen tikjes fluitjes of andere ellende, tenzij hij op zijn batterij werkt, dan maakt hij een niet al te hard brommend geluid. Duidelijk en subtiel LCD display!

I have used many different UPS systems over the last 19 years and APC is the only unit I will sell to my clients now. This product is being used for a Dell PowerEdge T320 for a small non-profit.

This is the second time I have replaced the batteries on the Smart b/u DLA-750. The previous batteries lasted a bit over 2 years. In South Florida weather, brown outs, power surges, lightning and all else they last very well and makes for a great unit with easy management. The hot swap of the batteries makes it even easier to care for. It's a quick face plate movement, quick click disconnect/reconnect and you're done. Easy return or local drop off to recycle the old batteries and you are done! Nothing, in my experience, has been more reliable, cost efficient and easy to use and maintain.
