Finally, a USB to serial that works. I had a number of these and i always have to reinstall the driver every time I re-use it. This one works well and it takes one driver install and you're all set all the way.

Arrived incredibly fast - excellent low cost shipping. Works very well with UT61E multimeter as long as the Prolific drivers e.g. 3.8.12.0 are downloaded and Window's own drivers are not used. The drivers on the CD may or may not be good, I have not tried them.

Works great in Linux (Ubuntu 16.04). I used it to give USB 3 capability to an older laptop so I could connect an external hard drive and it's been working away, handling my nightly backups, for many weeks now.
