It has taken me a while to adapt to and learn this keyboard but still learning alone and not easy to read to self teach from the manual Trying all the tones first just playing around then discovering again how to pair instruments and split the board- but the sound and added sustain are amazing. Very subtle differences in some tones and reverb which my ear is beginning to appreciate Some paired instruments don’t seem to cover the whole keyboard though and cg Change tone! Still learning Overall an amazing keyboard with twice the note playing that I had on the old CTK671 [polyphony] Still no Xither; unless I find it,, so dulcimer blended with something maybe , I’ll find out Thankyou Seat and stand are perfect Very pleased

I love those acoustic sounds on the CTX 5000. Being a producer of reggae and hip-hop it covers all my required bases. I can create exact replicas of songs and re represent them with live instruments with the on board sequencer. I can create and write drum tracks directly to a DAW. I haven't even used or recorded using the automated section yet. I pretty much use it as an entire studio for backing tracks. Casio saved me money on A MPC that I would've merely used to sample the very sounds the CtX 5000 has. Musical Background: Producer. Bought this to scratch an itch - I'm mainly a guitar player who's wanted to learn at least the basics on keys for a long time. Early days but the keyboard and starter pack are making it enjoyable so far

I purchased this keyboard in hopes of obtaining an upgrade to my CTS500. I love the small, light-weigh CTS500, but it lacks decent onboard amp/speakers (only 2-watts). The CTX5000 specs out quite well but — totally confusing UI (User Interface). Too many TINY buttons to push to make it playable in a live setting. Display screen illumination and contrast make it impossible to view without tilting the heavy keyboard. Cannot be played (and viewed) on a flat surface. I debated at length to buy this keyboard. Affordable cost accounts for my choice. Wish I had gone with the more expensive (Korg) model that I had considered. Hopefully, I’m able to master the complexities of this keyboard interface, else — it will sit idle in my location.
